RADNOR, PA – The Cabrini men's tennis team celebrated Senior Day with a convincing 9-0 win over Clarks Summit University today at the Dixon Tennis Courts.
The Cavaliers' victory improved the team to 6-0 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference and gave them the inside track for the number one seed in next week's CSAC Tournament.
The Blue and White also celebrated the career of senior
Sean Jaeger. After two years at Chestnut Hill, Jaeger joined the Cavaliers and earned All-CSAC Second Team honors in 2016 at number one doubles with current partner junior
Alijah Broadnax.
Jaeger and the Cavaliers had little trouble with the Defenders, as they earned all three doubles point to open the match.
Jaeger and Broadnax scored an 8-2 win in the number one match, while freshman duo
Matthew DeMaria and
Charles LaMantia won its number two match 8-0.

Nick Tilley completed the doubles sweep with an 8-5 victory.
The Blue and White carried its solid play over to singles action, where it completed the victory with six straight set wins.
Broadnax claimed a 6-3, 6-1 win at number one, while Jaeger scored a 6-2, 6-0 victory in the number two match.
DeMaria and LaMantia earned matching 6-0, 6-0 wins in the numbers three and four flights, while Tiley captured the number five match 6-2, 6-3. Scaramuzza completed the sweep with a 6-4, 6-0 win at number six.
The Cavaliers will step out of conference play on Monday, as they welcome Penn State-Brandywine to the Dixon Tennis Courts. First serve is scheduled for 3:30pm.
