Galloway, NJ - The Cabrini women's tennis team dropped their 2017 season opener today at Stockton by a score of 9-0.
In No. 1 doubles, the duo of
Stefanie Barkofski and
Maggie Javitt nearly beat the pair from Stockton, only to fall by an 8-5 decision.
Suzy Pica and
Sydney Lynch also threatened in No. 2 doubles, as the pair narrowly lost 8-3. Kim Papenella and
Katie Fiore rounded out doubles play for the Blue and White, losing by a score of 8-1.
The host Ospreys were in control during singles play as they didnt allow any Cavalier to win more than two sets.
Cabrini will certainly look to rebound as they next travel to Alvernia University on Tuesday, Sept. 26. Match time is slated to begin at 3:30pm.
