The loss drops the Cavs' record to 1-2 on the young season.
The Blue and White were swept in doubles play as Senior
Maggie Javitt and freshman
Suzzane Pica led things off in No. 1 doubles and took two sets from the Knights, but were unable to fend off their opposition and dropped the match 8-2. Senior Kimberly Papenella and newcomer
Julia LaMarra battled in the No. 3 doubles match, but fell 8-3.
Arcadia controlled singles play throughout as Papenella was the lone Cavalier to beat her opposition, doing so in a tight 0-6, 6-4, 1-0 (12-10) win. The Blue and White battled as a unit, however as each player won at least two sets in singles play.
Cabrini will get some time to rest as they don't play again until they host Philadelphia University on Thursday, October 5th. Game time is slated to begin at 3pm.
