RADNOR, PA – The Cabrini men's basketball team put on a dominant performance today at Nerney Field House, as the Cavaliers scored a 92-64 win over the visiting Centenary University Cyclones.
Today's victory improved the Blue and White to 16-3 overall and 11-2 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference.
Twelve Cavaliers marked the scoring column today, as Cabrini shot .574 from the field, just .001 off its season high.
Senior
Tyheim Monroe recorded his 18th double-double of the season with 12 points and 13 boards in just 24 minutes of action. The senior also recorded a career high 10 assists to complete his first career triple-double.

Deryl Bagwell join Sammy Allen and Daeshon Francis from Div. II TX Permian Basin as the only teammates in any division to record triple-doubles this season.
Sophomore
Keith Blassingale hit 6-10 from the field for a team high 17 points, while freshmen
DJ Smith and
Trey Smith chipped in with 11 points. Junior
Anthony Wright-Downing paired 10 points, eight rebounds, three blocked shots and three steals in the win.
The Cavaliers never allowed the Cyclones to find any rhythm, as the Blue and White established a double-figure lead just over five minutes into the game. Cabrini pushed its lead to 29-10 at the 7:31 mark as Blassingale completed a three-point play.
Cabrini led by as many as 30 points in the first half, before taking a 51-28 lead into the halftime break. The Cavaliers held Centenary to just 9-33 shooting and forced 10 first half turnovers, which led to 17 Blue and White points.
Cabrini showed no let-up in the second half, as it connected on 17-29 from the field.
The Cavaliers' lead swelled to 77-37 midway through the second half, as Monroe completed his triple-double with an off the backboard alley-oop to Wright-Downing.
Minutes later, it was another Wright-Downing fast break dunk that gave the Blue and White its largest lead of the afternoon. The junior was on the business end of a dish from sophomore
Brett Foster, giving Cabrini an 87-46 lead with 6:36 to play.
While Cabrini's offensive attack was hitting on all cylinders, its defensive effort was just as impressive. The Cavaliers held Centenary to just .359 shooting, a defensive season low for Cabrini. The Blue and White also forced 18 turnovers, among its best efforts of the season.
Senior
Deryl Bagwell, who was honored before tip for joining the Cavaliers' 1,000 career point club, finished the day with eight points, while junior
Mike Doyle added seven.
Freshman Chris LaBelle led Centenary (4-15, 2-11 CSAC) With 20 points, while classmate Larry Joseph paired 13 points and a team high nine boards.
The Cavaliers will return to action on Wednesday, when they host Gwynedd Mercy (16-2, 11-1 CSAC) in a showdown for first place in the CSAC. Tip is scheduled for 8pm in Nerney Field House.
