RADNOR, PA – The Cabrini men's basketball team celebrated Senior Day with a convincing 97-070 victory over Clarks Summit today at Nerney Field House.
The Blue and White closed its regular season with a 22-3 record, including 16-2 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference and an eight game win streak.
By virtue of their conference record, the Cavaliers have secured home court advantage in the upcoming CSAC Tournament and a bye into the semifinal round. On Wednesday, Cabrini will host the lowest remaining seed after Monday's quarterfinal round.
Today's game also marked the final regular season home appearance for Cabrini seniors

Both seniors had their all-around games on display in today's victory. Monroe recorded his second triple-double of the season with 12 points, 11 rebounds and a career high 11 assists to go with four steals in just 27 minutes of action.

The Blue and White took control of the game in the early minutes, as it used a 14-0 spurt to build a 25-10 lead at the 13:15 mark on sophomore
Brett Foster's traditional three point play.
The lead swelled to 53-27 just before the halftime break, as Bagwell hit Blassingale for a one-handed fast break jam.
Cabrini built its halftime lead on the strength of hot shooting, as the Cavaliers connected on nearly 70% of its first half field goal attempts, including 7-15 from three point range.
Though the offensive execution was not as crisp in the second half, Cabrini never allowed the Defenders to pull within 20 points after the break.
The Blue and White struggled with its touch from three point range (1-10) and the free throw line (5-11) but shot .442 from the field and committed just three second half turnovers.
Foster finished the day with 13 points, while freshman
Trey Smith paired 11 points, three boards and three assists.
Sophomore John McCloskey paired 15 points, 10 rebounds and six assists to lead five Defenders (1-24, 0-18 CSAC) in double-figure scoring. Freshman Hudson Spaulding added 15 points and seven boards.
