Clarks Summit, PA - The Cabrini women's basketball team capped their season with an impressive 77-38 win over the host Clarks Summit Defenders this afternoon.

Kate Skalski's 18 points in 18 minutes. Classmate

Kate Lannon finished with 10 points each, with Lannon chipping in four boards as well. Junior
Nomi Washington added nine points and four rebounds, while senior
Caroline Price finished with a game high six assists.
The Cavaliers' wire to wire victory got off to a fast start as they jumped out to a 12-4 lead over the games first nine minutes. A pair of free throws from Washington followed by a trey from Skalski with nine seconds left capped a 17-4 first quarter run.
The Blue and White would extend their lead to 24 points thanks to a three from freshman
Ashley Tutzauer with just under two minutes left in the half. A pair of free throws from Clark Summit junior Tori Erdman cut the Defenders' deficit to 22 points heading into the half.
Cabrini added 24 points in the third quarter and 18 in the fourth to balloon the lead to a game high 44 points in the game's waning moments. Clarks Summit closed the game with a 5-to-0 run for the 77-38 final.
All told, the Cavs shot a blistering 51.9% (28-of-54) from the field, marking a new season high, and 40% (10-of-25) from down town, while holding the Defenders to just 22% (11-of-50).
With the win the Cavaliers secured home court advantage in the upcoming CSAC Tournament and a bye into the semifinal round. On Wednesday, Cabrini will host the lowest remaining seed after Monday's quarterfinal round.
The Blue and White finish the regular season with a perfect 16-0 CSAC record, their best conference record since the 2014-15 season. They will head into the post season carrying an overall record of 23-2.
