Immaculata, PA - The Cabrini women's tennis team dropped their conference opener this afternoon as they fell to host Immaculata University by a 9-0 final. 

The senior pair of Stefanie Barkofski and Maggie Javitt kicked things off with a hard fought match in No. 1 doubles, but ultimately fell to their Mighty Mac counterparts by an 8-5 final. 

Sophomores Lattana Sithara and Sydney Lynch teamed up in No. 2 doubles for an 8-2 loss, while freshmen Julia Lamara and Miranda Smith fell by a 8-1 final in No. 3 doubles. 

Javitt continued to battle in her No. 2 singles match as she nearly defeated Immaculata's Susan Callahan, but was edged 6-4, 6-3. 

Sithara and Lynch won four games each in No. 3 and No. 4 singles, respectively, but were topped by Immaculata's Caitlin Savage and Morgan Jacob. 

With the loss the Blue and White move to 1-4 overall and will look to turn things around when they square off against Rosemont College on Monday, March 19th at 4pm.
