Radnor, PA - The Cabrini men's tennis team enjoyed a 7-2 victory today over the visiting Neumann University Knights on senior day. 

The Blue and White celebrated the career of senior Alijah Broadnax, who owns 25 singles victories across his four seasons, as well as 29 doubles victories. In total, Broadnax has compiled a career record of 54-31 across both doubles and singles competition. The veteran has also guided the Cavs to 25 team victories, including the 2016-17 CSAC championship. 

Broadnax and No. 1 doubles partner sophomore CJ LaMantia led things off with an 8-1 victory in No. 1 doubles, while freshmen Nick Falcone and Vince Paetow took an 8-3 victory in No. 2 doubles. 

Sophomores Nick Tilley and Matthew DeMaria edged their Neumann counterparts for the 8-4 win in the No. 3 slot. 

In singles play, both Broadnax and Lamantia cruised to victories in the No. 1 and 2 positions via a 6-3, 6-1 and 6-0, 6-0 decision, respectively. 

Falcone also made quick work of Neumann's Evan King with a 6-0, 6-3 decision. 

Tilley, meanwhile, rallied for a 7-6, 1-6, 10-7 tiebreak win in No. 5 singles. 

Freshman Chukwuma Duru nearly followed suit, but was ultimately edged in the tiebreaker by a 6-4, 1-6, 10-8 final. The Knights recorded their final decision in No. 3 singles after Paetow was retired. 

Following today's action, the Blue and White improve to 9-4 overall and stay perfect in conference play at 6-0. They will look to keep things rolling when they travel to Gwynedd Mercy on Monday, April 16th. Match time is slated for 3pm.
