Wlikes-Barre, PA - The Cabrini men's tennis team had their six match win streak snapped this afternoon as Wilkes University handed the Blue and White a 9-0 loss.Â
The Cavaliers surrendered two team points to the Colonels by way of forfeit in No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles.Â

The Cavs did turn in strong performances in No. 1 and 2 doubles, however, as senior
Alijah Broadnax and sophomore
CJ LaMantia took four games in an 8-4 loss in the No. 1 slot, while freshmen
Nick Falcone and
Vince Paetow won five games in an enventual 8-5 loss in No. 2 doubles.Â
2017 All-American and Wilkes junior Courtney Murphy showed his mettle as he edged Broadnax by a 6-0, 6-4 final in No. 1 singles, while Lamantia and Falcone took four games a piece in No. 2 and 3 singles, respectively.Â
Sophomore
Nick Tilley and freshman
Chukwuma Duru, meanwhile,  fell by 6-0, 6-2 and 6-1, 6-0 finals in No. 4 and No. 5 singles, respectively. Â
The loss drops the Cavaliers to 9-5 overall, but they stay pat with a conference best 6-0 mark. The Blue and White will cap their conference slate on Monday, April 23rd when they travel to Gwynedd Mercy University to take on the Griffins at 3:30pm.Â
