La Plume, PA - The Cabrini men's tennis team cruised to their fourth consecutive victory this afternoon as toppling the Keystone College Giants by a 9-0 final.
The Blue and White dropped just two games across all three doubles matches as senior
Alijah Broadnax and sophomore
CJ LaMantia earned an 8-0 victory in the No. 1 slot, and were matched by sophomore
Nick Tilley and freshman
Chukwuma Duru who took an 8-0 victory of their own in No. 3 doubles.
Rookies
Vince Paetow and
Nick Falcone made it a 3-0 Cabrini lead thanks to their 8-2 win in No. 2 doubles.
Cabrini was equally as dominant in singles play as Broadnax, Lamantia and sophomore
Matthew DeMaria each swept through they respective matches, winning 6-0, 6-0.
Paetow (6-1, 6-3) and Tilley (6-3, 6-1) dropped just four games each, while Falcone used a 6-2, 6-1 decision to overcome his opponent.
With the win the Cavaliers improve to 6-4 overall and 3-0 in conference play and will look for their fifth consecutive victory tomorrow, when they host Marywood University at noon.
