Radnor, PA - The Cabrini women's tennis team had a sour open to their 2018 home slate as they fell to the visiting Stockton University Ospreys by a 9-0 final. 

Junior Sydney Lynch and freshman Elizabeth Baddoo fell in No. 1 doubles by a 8-0 final, while fellow rookie Raechel Aviles and No. 2 doubles partner sophomore Miranda Smith were edged by the same score. 

Following a No. 3 doubles forfeit by the Cavs and an early 3-0 deficit, Stockton rolled to victories in No. 1, No. 2 and No. 4 singles by way of a 6-0, 6-0 decision in each. In the No. 3 flight, Baddoo captured two games in the the first set, but ultimately fell by a 6-2, 6-0 decision. 

Smith had a similar outcome in No. 5 singles, but was edged by a 6-1, 6-0 final. 

Following today's action, the Blue and White move to 0-1 on the young season. They will look to rebound on Tuesday, September 25th when they host Alvernia University at Dixon Tennis Courts. Match time is slated for 3:30pm.
