RADNOR, PA – Despite recorded twice as many shots on goal as Neumann, the Cabrini men's soccer team could not find the back of the net, as the Cavaliers suffered a 1-0 loss to the Knights in the Atlantic East Conference opener for both teams.
The loss dropped the Blue and White to 4-7-1 overall, while Neumann improved to 3-7-1 on the season.
Both teams combined for 10 shots a scoreless first half, with the Cavaliers posting four of its six shots on target. Neumann's freshman Seth Walker goaltender kept Cabrini off the board, recording three of his five saves in the opening 45 minutes.
The score sheet remained clean until the 62nd minute, when Neumann's Johan Silvestre collected a loose ball in front of Cabrini's goal for the lone tally of the evening.
The Cavaliers recorded two of its four second half shots and a pair of corner kicks over the final 28 minutes, but each attempt was turned away by the Neumann defense.

The Cavaliers will look to rebound on Saturday, as they pay a visit to Immaculata (5-7-1, 1-0 Atlantic East). Kickoff is scheduled for 12pm.
