RADNOR, PA - The Cabrini women's lacrosse team closed its regular season on a high note, as it scored an 18-4 win over Immaculata University at today Edith Robb Dixon Field.
With the victory, the Cavaliers improved to 9-8 overall and 5-1 in the Atlantic East Conference.
Today's action also marked the final regular home appearance for Cabrini's five seniors,
MaryKate Keenan,
Katie Kucia,
Avery Murphy,
Emma Rodner-Tims,
Devon Scharf. These ladies have led the Cavaliers to 51 victories, including a 31-1 mark in conference play and three league titles.
Freshman
Dana Carlson honored the seniors in a big way, tallying 11 points and nine goals, tied for the highest output among players in the Atlantic East Conference this season.
Sophomore
Ashley Tutzauer paired three goals, three assists and three ground balls. Murphy joined sophomore
Taylor Dimmerling and freshman
Shea Neary with three points each, as the trio combined for five goals and four assists. Murphy added eight draw controls and three ground balls, while Neary posted four caused turnovers and five ground balls.
Rodner-Tims anchored the defensive effort with a career high six caused turnovers and six ground balls. The Blue and White's three primary defenders, Kucia, junior

Sarah McCarron also combined for seven caused turnovers and eight ground balls.
Freshman goaltender
Sam Hamalak collected the victory with six saves in 40 minutes of action.
Carlson put the Cavaliers on the board at the 27:10 mark, but it was a span of 2:25 during which the Blue and White took control of the action.
Carlson and Neary recorded three points each, as Cabrini tallied five goals between 24:03 and 21:41, extending its lead to 6-0.
The Blue and White pushed its lead to 14-1 after a first half that saw it outshoot the Mighty Macs 31-7. The Cavaliers also held Immaculata to just 9-19 in clear attempts and pressured the visitors into 22 first half turnovers.
Sophomore Maura Murray led the Mighty Macs (6-10, 2-4 Atlantic East) with two goals, four caused turnovers and five ground balls. Junior goaltender Emily Schumann added 13 saves in the loss.
By virtue of their 5-1 conference record, the Cavaliers have earned the number two seed in the upcoming Atlantic East Conference tournament. Along with the seed comes a bye into Wednesday's semifinal round.
Cabrini will host the lowest remaining seed after Saturday's first round match-ups. Game time for Wednesday's semifinal contest has not yet been announced.
