RADNOR, PA - The Cabrini men's soccer winless streak ran to five matches. as the Cavaliers suffered a 3- 2 loss to King's College today at Edith Robb Dixon Field.
The nonconference loss dropped the Blue and White to 2-5-1 on the season, while the Monarchs improved to 6-1.
The Cavaliers grabbed an early lead, as a King's penalty inside its 18-yard box led to a seventh minute penalty kick for senior
Andre Justin.
The lead lasted just six minutes, as Quentin Szeker-Cortes found August Axtman. The Monarchs grabbed the lead in the 17th minute when Aiden DeCamillo marked the scoring column.
King's carried its slim 2-1 lead into the halftime break, but it did not take long for Cabrini to even the score after the break.
In the 50th minute, junior
Josh Cunningham connected with Justin for the senior's second goal of the afternoon, marking Justin's first career multi-goal game.
The score remained deadlocked at 2-2 until the 79th minute, when King's Aziz Atiyeh found Nik Verma for the game-winning goal.
The Blue and White created several scoring chances in the game's final minute, recording three shots and forcing a corner kick.
Cabrini recorded 11 shots in the loss, two fewer than the Monarchs. Justin's three led the club, while classmate

Dani Acevedo added three each.

The Cavaliers will look to change their recent fortunes on Wednesday, when they host Delaware Valley University (3-3-1). Kickoff is slated for 7pm at Edith Robb Dixon Field.
