ANNVILLE, PA - The Cabrini women's tennis team dropped a nonconference matchup this afternoon against the hosting Lebanon Valley College Dutchmen by a 9-0 final.
Junior
Miranda Smith and freshman
Natalie Bell won a team best three games in doubles play, but were ultimately topped by an 8-3 final in the No. 3 slot.
Sophomores
Raechel Aviles and
Alyssa Madden paired in the No. 1 flight, but fell 8-2 to LVC"s Nicole Honrade and Melanie Haas. Sophomore
Elizabeth Baddoo and freshman
Anna Leinenbach took an 8-0 defeat in the No. 2 slot.
In singles play, sophomore
Fanta Bility highlighted the action as she won a team best four games against the Dutchmen's Elise Hanks-Witaszek in flight No. 6, but eventually fell by a 6-0, 6-4 decision.
Following today's match, the Cavaliers move to 1-8 on the season. Per the university's official release, all matches until March 31st have been suspended.
