Men's Soccer Tops Neumann 4-0 to Win Atlantic East Title

RADNOR, PA – The Cabrini men's soccer team left no question about its dominance in the Atlantic East Conference this season, as it capped its season with a 4-0 win over Neumann today at Edith Robb Dixon Field, claiming the program's 11th conference title and first since 2017.

The club's eighth consecutive victory improved the squad to 13-4-2 on the season and secured the league's automatic bid into next week's NCAA Tournament.

The Cavaliers will learn their tournament fate on Monday at 1:30pm, when the NCAA broadcasts its Div. III Selection Show on NCAA.com.

The Cavaliers got on the board in the 23rd minute when a loose ball fell to sophomore Nolan Holloway for a half volley into the back of the net.

Cabrini wasted little time adding to its lead, as senior Tyler Jankowski scored his sixth goal of the season just five minutes later

The Cavaliers carried their 2-0 lead into the halftime break, after outshooting the Knights 7-1.

The Blue and White showed no let-up in the second half, as sophomore Nick LoBiondo scored his team-leading 10th goal in the 57th minute, after collecting a pass from junior Matt Duddy.

Six minutes later, senior Christian Rafter added his name to the score sheet, turning a pass from Championship Game Most Valuable Player Josh Cunningham into his third marker of the season.

While the Blue and White offense was hitting on all cylinders, Cabrini's defensive effort controlled the Knights from the opening whistle. The Cavaliers held the Knights to just four shots, Neumann's second fewest of the season.

Sophomore goaltender MJ Graham was called on for just one save to record his third consecutive shutout and run his record to 10-0 on the season.

Rafter accounted for four of the Cavaliers' 15 shots in the win, with Jankowski, Holloway and junior Nick Gaspari adding two each.
