RADNOR, PA - The Cabrini women's tennis team suffered a 9-0 loss to the visiting Immaculata University Mighty Macs this afternoon on senior day.
The Blue and White were edged by matching 8-0 finals in No. 1 and No. 2 doubles, while Immaculata won flight No. 3 via a Cavalier forfeit.
The visitors scored a 6-0, 6-0 victory over junior Rachel Aviles in No. 1 singles, while rookie
Kara Bradl was topped by a 6-0,1-6 decision in the No. 2 slot. Sophomore
Natalie Bell was edged by Immaculata's Anna Degnan in No. 3 singles by a 6-1, 6-1 final, while the Cavs lone senior in
Miranda Smith was topped by a 6-0, 6-0 decision to cap the singles action.
Immaculata took No. 5 and 6 singles by way of a pair of Cavalier forfeits.
Following today's match, the Cavaliers move to 0-3 in both conference play and overall. They will look to break into the win column on Wednesday, April 21st when they travel to nearby Aston, PA to face the Neumann University Knights.
