ASTON, PA - The Cabrini women's tennis team closed their Spring slate with a convincing 8-1 victory over the Neumann University Knights this afternoon. 

The Cavs swept through doubles competition as the duos of junior Raechel Aviles and sophomore Sydney Kesselman in the No. 1 flight, and sophomore Natalie Bell and freshman Kara Bradl in the No. 2 flight won by matching 8-3 finals. Sophomore Paulina Repollet and senior Miranda Smith capped doubles play with an 8-0 final in the No. 3 slot. 

In singles play, the Cavs only loss came in the No. 1 flight as Neumann's Hannah Asaka topped Aviles by a 6-1, 6-3 final. Bell highlighted the singles action as she completed a thrilling come-from-behind victory by way of a 5-7, 6-2, 6-1 final. 

Bradl and Smith combined ot lose just one game as they tallied a 6-1, 6-0 and 6-0, 6-0 win, respectively. 

Following today's match, the Cavs will turn their attention to the Atlantic East Conference tournament. Day one of the tournament is set for Thursday, May 6th. Continue to follow CabriniAthletics.com for the latest schedule updates.
