RADNOR, Pa. – Cabrini University senior midfielder Nick Booth picked up two goals and an assist as the Cavaliers (6-6-3, 3-1 AEC) rallied from a 2-1 halftime deficit to defeat Immaculata (6-6-2, 1-2 AEC) 4-3 Saturday afternoon.
Booth scored in the 56th and 59th minute, the latter coming on a penalty kick to give the Cavs a 3-2 lead.
The game-winning goal came from freshman defender Dominic Petruzzelli in the 61st minute as he put back a miss from senior defender Jake Scully that hit the right post for a 4-2 edge.
John Bohrer converted a penalty kick goal for the Mighty Macs in the 86th minute to get them within one, but, Cabrini's defense held off another charge.
Cabrini took an early 1-0 lead on a goal from junior midfielder Nolan Holloway in the 10th minute on an assist from Booth.
Immaculata would take a 2-1 lead as Phillip Lyons scored on a free kick from Sean Franks in the 29th minute, with Michael Balestriere scoring in the 40th minute on a steal near the top of the box.
Junior goalkeeper MJ Graham made three saves on the afternoon.
