RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini University men's swimming team started off its 2022-23 season on a winning note, defeating King's 123-49.
The Cavs captured the opening 200 yard medley relay with a time of 1:46.69 as the team of junior Kenny Lok, junior Matt Seifried, freshman Jeffrey Travers and graduate student Mac Granto won the event.
In the 1000 free, sophomore Chris LaBianco won the event with a time of 11:00.28.
Seifried captured the 200 free with a mark of 1:53.68.
In the 50 free, junior Michael Gray won with a time of 22.42, followed by junior Colin Taggart in second with a time of 22.74.
Junior Tommy Ronayne won the 200 IM at 2:01.08, followed by Lok in second at 2:13.77.
Seifried won his second event of the day, taking the 100 fly at 57.84.
Granto won the 100 free at 50.64, with Travers taking third at 53.91.
Taggart won his first event of the day in the 100 back at 1:01.42, with Lok taking second at 1:02.29.
Ronayne was first in the 500 free at 5:02.29, with LaBianco going third at 5:26.08.
Gray won his second event of the day at 1:03.73 in the 100 breast.
Finally, Taggart, Ronayne, Granto and Gray won the 200 free relay at 1:32.14.
