RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini University women's soccer team returned home from a four-match road swing and picked up where they left off as the Cavs (8-3, 1-0 AEC) defeated Neumann (4-7-2, 1-1 AEC) with a 2-0 win at home.
The Cavs have now won four straight and pitched their fourth shutout.
Both goals came in the first half as junior forward Danielle Rooney scored in the 16th minute on a pass from junior forward Ella Marrollo, while junior midfielder Rebekah Cunningham netted a goal in the 34th minute on a pass from sophomore forward Anna Bond.
From there, sophomore goalkeeper Caroline Hassall made five saves for her fourth-straight clean sheet.
The Cavs head to Marywood on Saturday.
