Box Score BRYN MAWR, PA - The Cabrini women's tennis team returned to action with their first match up of the spring season but dropped a nonconference matchup this afternoon against the hosting Bryn Mawr College Owls by a 9-0 final.
In doubles play the pairings of senior
Raechel Aviles with sophomore
Kara Bradl and senior
Natalie Bell with junior
Fanta Bility each won one game, but were both ultimately topped by 8-1 in the No. 1 and No. 2 slot, respectively.
The duo of senior
Caroline Boileau and freshman
Kyleigh Brunotte took and 8-0 defeat in the No. 3 slot.
In singles play, Bell highlighted the day with three wins in flight No. 2 but ultimately fell by a 6-3, 6-0 decision.
Bility matched Bell with three wins but could not overcome Bryn Mawr's Fernanda Hurtado in the No. 4 slot, 6-2, 6-1.
Following today's match, the Cavaliers move to 0-2 on the season. Cabrini will play its first home match of the year this upcoming Tuesday, March 22
nd. Match time is set for 3PM.
