RADNOR, PA - The Cabrini University women's tennis team fell to the Stevenson University Mustangs in a nonconference matchup Friday afternoon by way of a 9-0 final score.
In doubles play the pairing of senior
Natalie Bell with junior
Syd Kesselman performed well in the second flight, but were ultimately topped, 8-7.
The duos of senior
Raechel Aviles and sophomore
Kara Bradl took and 8-4 defeat in the first doubles match. Junior
Fanta Bility and
Caroline Boileau dropped an 8-2 decision in the final doubles match of the day.
Kesselman highlighted singles play for the Cavs in flight No. 3, as she won her second set 6-1 but was bested in the tiebreaker.
Bility nearly won her second set as well but was overcome by the Mustangs Samantha Zudov, 6-1, 6-4.
Following today's match, the Cavaliers move to 1-3 on the season. Cabrini will travel to Lebanon Valley College this Wednesday, March 30
th. Match time is set for 3:30PM.
