SCRANTON, PA – The Cabrini University women's tennis team dropped an Atlantic East Conference match to host Marywood University by a 9-0 final.

Ashley Tutzauer performed well in the No. 3 flight but ultimately fell by a final score of 8-3. Tutzauer, a member of the women's basketball, lacrosse and soccer teams, participated in her first career tennis match.
In singles play, Bility and Tutzauer were the only Cavs to win more than four sets. Bility fell (6-3, 6-2) in the No. 5 flight. Tutzauer, in flight No. 6, won her first carreer match 7-6, with a 7-5 win. The graduate student was bested 6-4 in her second match of the day and was narrowly edged out in the tie breaker, 11-9.
Following today's match, the Blue and White are fall to 4-7 on the year, 1-3 in conference place. They will look to get back on track this Saturaday, April 23rd when they travel to Immaculata, PA to face the Immaculata University Mighty Macs. Match time is scheduled to begin at 3PM.
