Men's Soccer sees unbeaten streak halted by Cairn, 3-2

LANGHORNE, Pa. – Cabrini's five-match unbeaten streak came to an end on Tuesday night as the Cavs (3-3-2) were handed a 3-2 loss by Cairn (3-2-2) in men's soccer action at the Stillman Complex.

The Cavs rallied late as Brian Sharkey scored with just 1:47 left in the contest on an assist from graduate midfielder Tyler Jankowski. Cabrini then had three chances to score in the final 90 seconds but could not get one across.

Senior forward Tyler Tomlin also got a goal in the first half for Cabrini on an assist from senior defender Jake Scully.

Cairn took an early 2-0 lead with goals in the 17th and 19th minutes as Micah Portis and David Falcon scored goals on assists by Josh Goodyear and Jack Fiacco.

Tomlin's goal came at 38:17 as Cabrini cut the deficit in half, 2-1.

Cairn got the game-winner in the 61st minute as Tyler Skaer scored on assists from Portis and Jesse Brittain.

In goal, junior MJ Graham made four saves for Cabrini.
