LANCASTER, Pa. – A goal in each half was good enough for the Cabrini University women's soccer team as the Cavaliers (5-3) grabbed a road win for the first time this season with a 2-0 blanking of Lancaster Bible (3-5) Tuesday afternoon.
Cabrini got on the board as junior Rebekah Cunningham scored on a pass from junior Danielle Rooney in the 21st minute for a 1-0. From there, junior Ella Marrollo scored in the 67th minute unassisted to account for all the scoring.
Cabrini had a 20-7 advantage in shots and did not allow a corner kick all afternoon. Sophomore Caroline Hassall made four saves to post the clean sheet.
Cabrini goes to Alvernia on Thursday.
