Men's Soccer Falls Short in Home Opener

RADNOR, PA – The Cabrini men's soccer team could not take advantage of its chances, falling to 0-2 on the young season after today's 1-0 loss to Delaware Valley at Edith Robb Dixon Field.

The Cavaliers outshot the visitors 26-6, including 17-2 in the second half, and recorded 10 corner kicks, but could not find the back of the net.

The Aggies scored the day's lone marker in the 21st minute, as Thomas Fitzsimmons found Dan Arone.

The Blue and White defensive unit then shut down Delaware Valley, surrendering just two shots over the remaining 68 minutes of action.
