ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. – The Cabrini University men's swimming team finished up its 2022-23 season on Sunday night by finishing third at the Atlantic East Conference Championships hosted by St. Mary's College of Maryland.
The Cavs finished third with 506 points, as Marymount won the event with 713 points and host St. Mary's College of Maryland was second with 615.
The lone championship came in the final event of the night in the 400 yard free relay, as the team of Colin Taggart, Michael Gray, Tommy Ronayne and Mac Granto won the event with a meet and conference record of 3:10.58.
Gray picked up a silver medal in the 200 breast with a time of 2:11.32, just a half second behind thew winning time. Jeffrey Travers was seventh in that race with a mark of 2:25.35.
Taggart and Granto went 2-3 in the 200 free, as Taggart scored a 47.60 and Granto went 48.39.
Ronayne was third in the 200 fly at 1:56.65 with Matt Seifried finishing fourth at 2:00.16.
Finally, Kenny Lok was fourth in the 200 back at 2:04.03.
