Aston, PA - The Cabrini University Men's Basketball team defeated Neumann University on Wednesday night, improving their Atlantic East Conference record to 2-1 on the season.

-Eric Neal and Bryan Warren had active hands on defense, each collecting three steals on the night. Neal also added two blocks.
-The Knights and Cavaliers put up similar rebounding numbers, as Neumann gathered 30 rebounds to Cabrini's 29. The Cavs made more of their 7 offensive boards, paving the way for 13 second chance points.
-Donoven Mack, Isaac Brady, Eric Neal, and Bryan Warren all reached double figures while shooting north of 50% from the floor. Aarick Salata was a single point shy, scoring 9 on 3/5 field goal attempts.
-Cabrini slowed Neumann's ball movement, as the Knights recorded just 5 assists in the game.
-Neumann battled their way to the rim, earning 18 points off 26 free throws. Cabrini was a bit more pedestrian from the stripe, converting 7 of 15 free throw attempts.
-While Neumann remained competitive for much of the game, the score favored Cabrini for all but 90 seconds of game time. 
-Coach Van Zelst's rotation spread the floor on offense, as all seven Cavaliers with a three point attempt had at least one make in the contest.
-Cabrini's spacing opened up the lane, where they recorded 42 points in the paint. This was the Cavs' second highest mark of the season, behind only their December 4th win over Penn State Berks.
