Cabrini Swimming Earns Scholar All-America Honors

The Cabrini University Women's and Men's Swimming teams were recently named Scholar All-America teams by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).

The Women's team finished with a perfect 4.00 grade point average during the Fall 2023 semester, good for the best possible mark among Division III teams. The Men's team finished with a 3.66 grade point average, placing eleventh in D-III.

Across all divisions, 18,716 student athletes from 783 teams and 461 institutions were selected to the Scholar All-America teams for the Fall 2023 semester.

Per the eligibility rules, teams must hold a collective 3.0 GPA or better on a 4.0 scale for a given semester. Among Division III Institutions, 183 women's teams achieved the feat, while 151 teams did so on the men's side.

The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association was founded in 1922 and is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The CSCAA aims is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
