How It Happened
  • Cabrini found themselves in a 3-0 hole early, but quickly evened the score as they'd score the next 3 in succession. The Cavaliers' first goal was supplied by Cassidy Starner assisted by Marissa Mullan. Nine seconds later, Olivia Little won the draw, fed upfield to Neve Murphy who scored. Alena Catka netted the Cavs' third a minute later to push a 3-3 score.
  • Cabrini surrendered the next three goals, but snuck one in just before the end of the first quarter. Olivia Little assisted Morgan McClintock's goal with the score reading 6-4 Haverford.
  • The Cavaliers had a less-than-stellar 2nd and 3rd quarter, as they were outscored 8-2 across the two periods. Cabrini's 2nd quarter goal came from Morgan McClintock unassisted, while their next goal came from Olivia Pace just after halftime.
  • The Cavaliers closed out the game strong, as they'd net the final four goals of the contest. Olivia Little had three straight, two of which were assisted by Cassidy Starner, before Olivia Pace gave Cabrini their 10th goal.
  • Defensively, the Cavaliers tightened up to quiet Haverford late. Caroline Gallagher scooped 4 ground balls, caused 3 turnovers, and had multiple breakaway clears. Alyssa Kolasa had 3 ground balls and 3 caused turnovers. Alena Catka won many of her draws, attaining 3 ground balls and several clears.
  • Abbey Fenton recorded six saves across 54 minutes of action in goal.
