MOHNTON, Pa. - The Cabrini University men's golf team completed the first day of the Alvernia University Spring Invitational at LedgeRock Golf Club.

Through 18, Cabrini stands tied for 8th place with 326 points.

Notes

• Frankie Sass tied for the best score on the front nine, as he'd shoot Par with 2 birdies and 2 bogeys. Sass added a third birdie on hole 14 and finished the day 74 (+2).
• Dan Murphy overcame a less than stellar start (+3 through 4 holes) by shooting -1 the remainder of the way. Murphy shot par or better on 12 consecutive holes, with birdies on the 8th and 18th.
