Avery Byrnes put a ball in play to the left side, scoring Mirenda. Kaitlyn Delaney followed with a 2 RBI double down the left field line that brought Gugel and Byrnes home. Emma Barbera's single allowed her to score the Cavaliers' fourth run on a hit from Sam Kilson.

After four perfect innings, she surrendered her first baserunner in the fifth. Later in the inning, Centenary gained a run off an RBI double and a bases loaded hit by pitch.
