In July 2009, Kate Pearson was named the 7th head coach in the history of the Cabrini women's basketball program. Pearson served five seasons as an assistant with the Cavaliers prior to taking over as head coach.
Former head coach Dan Welde guided Cabrini to its first Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) - formerly the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) - title in 1993. Welde helped lead the Cavaliers to three conference championships. He is the program's all-time leader in coaching victories with 232 in 14 seasons.
