Andrew Scarpelli begins his first season as an assistant coach for the Cavaliers in 2019-20.
Scarpelli toed the rubber at James Madison University and Frederick Community College before finishing his playing career at West Chester University under head coach Jad Prachniak. In his junior campaign, Scarpelli led the Rams with 17 appearances, a 1.38 ERA and a .142 batting average against in conference play.
He is currently finishing his degree at West Chester with a specialization in exercise science and plans to pursue his Masters degree at Cabrini. Prior to Cabrini, Scarpelli interned as a strength and conditioning coach at MapleZone Sports Institute where he administered performance training for both high school and college baseball players.
Scarpelli will lead the pitching staff for the Diamond Cavs, while also assisting recruiting activities and the reserve squad.
