Vince Gares begins his second season as an assistant coach for the Cavaliers in 2019-20. 

A standout hitter in his two seasons for the Blue and White, Gares transitioned to the coaching ranks following his graduation in 2018. 

After serving as the Cavaliers' designated hitter, while also seeing action behind the plate as a player, Gares will work with catchers and hitters this season. 

Gares currently resides in New Jersey with his fiancé Nicole.
