Francis X. Klose, DLitt, first came to Cabrini as a substitute chapel musician in 2004, and soon became the college’s music minister. Shortly after, Klose joined the religious studies faculty as an adjunct faculty member, a post he held until he joined the department full-time in fall of 2015.

Klose has served as a parish director of music in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia since 1999, and is currently director of music at his home parish, St. Katherine of Siena parish in Northeast Philadelphia. He also is an elected board member of the Philadelphia chapter of the National Pastoral Musicians.

Klose earned a doctor of letters degree from Drew University, a master of education at Cabrini College, a master of arts in Theological Studies from La Salle University, and a bachelor of arts in English Literature from La Salle University.
