Thomas Conway, EdD

Assistant Professor of Teacher Education 

Thomas R. Conway, EdD is an expert in Instructional Coaching, Curriculum Development, Socio-Cultural Education, Secondary Education, and Educational Leadership. In 2015, he joined Cabrini Faculty as an Assistant Professor in the Teacher Education Department.

Since coming to Cabrini, Conway was a panelist for the School to Prison Pipeline on Cabrini Day 2015. He has managed the partnership for Instructional Coaching with three local universities. He teaches courses that prepares both undergrad and post-baccalaureate students in their pursuit of certification on the secondary level. Additionally, Conway has expertise in designing, building, and instructing hybrid and online courses. He has presented at conferences on the topic of virtual learning.

Conway has several publications with the last one researching the best practices for integrating Web 2.0 applications into a high school curriculum. In addition to his writings, Conway has presented both at the state and national level with his latest research area of Instructional Coaching and the use of this model for an improved student/intern teaching experience.

Conway earned a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education/Social Studies and a Master of Arts in Theological and Pastoral Studies from La Salle University. He earned a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Saint Joseph’s University.
