Sean Jaeger was named interim head coach in July 2018, following the retirement of former head coach Stephen Parker. Following the 2019 campaign, the interim tag was removed. Jaeger was also named women's tennis head coach in July 2019.
In just his first year as head coach, Jaeger was named Atlantic East Conference Coach of the Year, after leading the Blue and White to its third consecutive conference championship. The 2019 Cavaliers cruised to an 11-4 overall record, including 4-0 in conference play, extending its conference win streak to 18 matches.
Jaeger entered the coaching ranks as an assistant coach for the Cabrini men’s tennis team in 2018, following a successful four year playing career.
After two years at Chestnut Hill College, Jaeger transferred to Cabrini and established himself as one of the team’s best players and leaders. Jaeger earned All-CSAC Second Team honors for doubles in 2016 before earning First Team accolades at both No. 2 singles and No. 2 doubles during the Blue and White’s championship run in 2017. Jaeger was also named for each of his two years at Cabrini.
In 2018 Jaeger turned his playing experience into a successful coaching debut, as he helped Parker and the Cavaliers earn a second consecutive conference crown and return to the NCAA Tournament.
The Burlington, NJ native posted an 11-1 record in CSAC No. 1 doubles matches with Alijah Broadnax ’18 and collected 15 singles wins in the No. 2 flight during his two years at Cabrini.
A 2017 CSAC All-Academic Team member, Jaeger completed his degree in Marketing in May 2017.
