Megan Decker is in her fourth year as an assistant coach with the women's basketball team in 2019-20.

Decker returns to the Cavaliers’ bench after completing her career as one of the program’s best players.   

Decker played for Coach Pearson from 2011-15, leading the Blue and White to Colonial States Athletic Conference titles in 2013, 2014 and 2015.  With Decker of the floor, Cabrini posted a 79-23 overall record, including the program’s first ever NCAA Tournament victory in 2014.

A two-time All-CSAC performer, Decker started 88 of her 100 career games and averaged 8.1 points and 6.2 rebounds, while amassing 228 career steals.  Decker closed here career ranked seventh all-time in rebounds, ninth all-time in blocks and fourth all-time in steals.

Decker’s talents extended beyond the hardwood, as she also helped the Cabrini women’s lacrosse team to a pair of CSAC championships, earning a pair of All-CSAC accolades in 2014 and 2015.

The true definition of a student-athlete, Decker graduated Summa Cum Laude from Cabrini in 2015 with a degree in elementary and special education.  At Commencement, Decker received the Mother Ursula Award, which is given to a senior who, "in the opinion of his/her classmates, has best fulfilled the ideals of the College through academic achievement, participation in extracurricular activities, leadership and service to fellow classmates and Cabrini College."

Decker was named 2015 CSAC Female Scholar Athlete of the Year and was named to league’s nominee for NCAA Woman of the Year.  She was also honored as a 2014-15 Pierce Scholar and was inducted into the Kappa Delta Pi Education Honor Society.

The Philadelphia native, who began her coaching career as a junior varsity coach at her alma mater St. Hubert High School, is currently a first grade teacher at Blessed Trinity Regional Catholic School.
