Cabrini University Athletics

Laura Patton was named Associate Director of Athletics in July 2022 after spending four years as Assistant Athletic Director of Athletics - Academic Services in July 2018. Patton came to Cabrini in 2012 and spent two years as the Dixon Center Coordinator of Facilities and three years as Coordinator of Academic Services

Patton is responsible for developing and coordinating departmental programs that will support all student-athletes relative to academically-related services, eligibility and compliance with NCAA, ECAC and Atlantic East Conference regulations.

In addition to her academic responsibilities, Patton will manage the scheduling of all Cabrini athletic contests, coordinate officials and oversee Cabrini’s game staff. Patton will also manage day to day operation of the Cabrini men's and women's golf and tennis programs.

Patton was involved in various activities during her time at Penn State Brandywine, including organizing intramural and club sports, game management and managing the school’s fitness center.  She also acted as the athletic department’s equipment manager, along with scheduling games, travel and practice facilities.  

Patton has also been a member of the Strath Haven High School girls lacrosse coaching staff since 2010, helping the Panthers reach four consecutive postseasons, including the 2012 PIAA state championship game.

No stranger to Cabrini, Patton also completed an internship with the Cavaliers in Fall 2012, during which she worked under Assistant Director of Athletics Brian Beacham in the areas of game management and NCAA compliance.

The Media, PA native earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science with a minor in Coaching from Ursinus College in 2009.  Patton completed her master’s degree in Public Administration from West Chester University in 2012.

Patton, her husband Justin and daughters, Avery and Emery reside in Phoenixville, PA.
