Women’s soccer student-athlete Maddy Edwards has been selected as Cabrini Athletics.com Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, November 13. 

This is the second time this year Edwards has been honored.

A goaltender on the women’s soccer team, Edwards recorded five saves in Cabrini’s 2-0 loss to Springfield College in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Edwards, an elementary education and special education major, was among the best in the Colonial States Athletic Conference with 0.90 goals against average and 0.841 save percentage.  

The junior was named to the All-CSAC First Team this year after posting a conference leading nine shutouts.

The Cavaliers finished the season with a 13-6-2 record and won their second CSAC championship in the last three years.
