Senior men’s lacrosse student-athlete Brian Hill was named CabriniAtheltics.com Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, March 25, 2012.  Hill tallied his 100th career goal in leading the Cavaliers to a 24-1 win over Shenandoah.

Hill got the Blue and White off to a great start on Saturday as he posted six points on three goals and three assists in the first 15 minutes of the game.  The senior recorded career highs with five goals, four assists and nine points on the day.

Perhaps the most memorable goal came at the 10:48 mark of the second quarter when Hill joined a very elite club.  Hill’s fourth goal of the game was the 100th goal of his career.  The senior became just the sixth Cavalier player to reach the century milestone.

Hill currently sits sixth on the school’s all-time goal list, just one goal behind Tom Lemieux (1999-2002). 

The business administration major is currently tied for the team lead with 20 goals.  His 10 assists and 31 total points also rank second.

The Cavaliers will return to the field on Wednesday when they travel to Scranton to face Marywood University. Game time is set for 3:30 p.m.
