Freshman point guard Cory Lemons averaged 22.5 points, 9.5 assists and 6.5 rebounds per game in two Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Tournament games last week.

Lemons scored 20 points, dished nine assists and claimed seven rebounds in an 89-68 win versus Immaculata University in the semifinal round of the CSAC Tournament. He shot 5-for-12 overall and 9-of-10 from the free throw line versus the Mighty Macs.

Two nights following, Lemons was named the most valuable player of the CSAC title game, posting 25 points, 10 assists and six rebounds in a convincing 97-73 victory against Neumann University. He shot 10-for-15 from the field for the game.

Lemons is second on the team in scoring (15.1) and ranks eighth nationally in assist-to-turnover (2.98). He was named the CSAC Rookie of the Year Feb. 21. Lemons has been selected the CabriniAthletics.com Student-Athlete of the Week three times in 2009-10.
