Freshman men’s basketball student-athlete Arron Goodman has been named CabriniAthletics.com Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending November 18.  

Goodman was named to the all-tournament team at the Virginia Wesleyan Marlin Tip Off Tournament after posting double-doubles in each of his first two career games.

In the opener, the rookie tallied a game high 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, leading Cabrini to an 89-77 overtime win.  Six of those points came in a decisive 90 second span in overtime that gave the Blue and White its final lead of the game.

Goodman followed that with a 17 point, 10 rebound performance in a 96-59 loss to No. 2 Virginia Wesleyan.  

Though the weekend’s games, Goodman connected on 17-27 from the floor, averaging 19 points and 10.5 rebounds.
