Sophomore cross country runner Emily Lauziere has been named the CabriniAthletics.com Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, September 21. 

On Saturday, the women’s cross country team came in first place out of four teams at the Penn State-Brandywine Invitational. Lauziere was the key piece in the Cavaliers' victory. In her collegiate debut, Emily led the way for the Cabrini, placing 2nd overall with a time of 24:46. 

Lauziere is also a member of the Cabrini women’s soccer team, appearing in 5 games this season.

The Blue and White will look to continue its success on Friday, as it travels to Lancaster, Pa. for the Lancaster Bible Homecoming Invitational. The race gets underway at 4 p.m.
