Senior back Courtney Davis was named the most valuable player in the Cabrini field hockey team’s 3-1 victory versus Gwynedd-Mercy College in the championship game of the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Tournament on Nov. 6.

Davis led a Cavaliers’ defense that allowed just one goal in two CSAC Tournament contests. Cabrini advanced to the conference title tilt with a 4-0 win versus Immaculata University on Nov. 3.

Davis has started all 19 games for the Blue & White on defense in 2010, also recording three points with one goal and one assist. She has played in 82 career games during her Cavaliers’ tenure.
