Ashley Walton scored in the 28
th minute as the Cabrini College field hockey team fell 2-1 to Wesley College this evening. Playing their final regular season game of the year, the Cavaliers fall to 8-11 while the Wolverines improve to 11-4.
Just twenty seconds into the game, Wesley took a 1-0 lead when Taryn Neeman collected the rebound off her own shot and fired the ball back into the cage.

Desiree Umosella found Walton off the penalty corner to even the score at one.
At the 56:28 mark, Brooke Tadlock connected with Brooke Bennett in a scramble in front of the goal for the game-winning tally.

Caitlin Donahue recorded ten saves for the Cavaliers in 70 minutes of play.
Wesley outshot Cabrini 15-6 and recorded ten penalty corners’ to the Cavaliers’ seven.
The Cavaliers, who finished sixth in the conference, face #3 Gwynedd-Mercy on Saturday, October 27 at 2 p.m. in Gwynedd Valley, Pa. in the first round of the PAC Championships. The Cavaliers advance to the tournament for the 11th consecutive season.
