RADNOR, Pa. (December 1) - Sixteen players from the Cabrini College women’s basketball team hit the scoring column as the Cavaliers defeated Cedar Crest 83-33 this afternoon in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference action. With the win, the Cavaliers improve their record to 3-1, 2-0 PAC, while the Falcons drop to 2-4 and 0-2 in the PAC.
Leading the offensive charge for the Cavaliers were sophomore
Kate Walck and junior
Nikki Duggan with 14 and 12 points, respectively.

Melissa Benedetti added eight points and seven other players scored six points each.
Both junior
Kayleen Smith and Walck led the team with six rebounds a piece.
Cedar Crest made a strong effort to catch up to the Cavaliers, trailing by one point at the 14:41 mark before Duggan came off the bench and dominated the field for the remainder of the half, making 4-of-5 shots and 1-of-2 free throws. Cabrini held a 42-18 lead at the break with a 12-of-30 performance from the field and going 13-of-20 from the line. Cedar Crest connected on just six shots in the first half.
In the second half, Cabrini continued to dominate, hitting 16 field goals while the Falcons again scored just six.
Cabrini held a 56-26 advantage in rebounds and forced the Falcons into 27 turnovers. The Cavaliers hit nine shots from beyond the arc.
The Lady Cavaliers will travel to Allentown, Pa. on Wednesday, Dec. 5 to face DeSales University for a 6 p.m. tipoff.
