Men and Women's Swimming Host Albright College

The Cabrini men and women swimming teams hosted Albright College in a dual-meet Tuesday.

RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini men and women's swimming team hosted Albright College in dual-meet action Tuesday at the Dixon Center Pool. The Cavalier men suffered a narrow 100-84 loss, while the Blue & Gray women dropped a 123-73 decision.

Sophomores Bill Boylan, Matt McGuriman and Kyle Teliszewski led the Cabrini men's charge, each winning gold against the Lions.

Boylan finished first in the 200yd individual medley with a season-best time of 2:10.02. McGuriman posted the top time in the 50yd freestyle, touching the wall of 23.45 seconds and claiming his second gold in the event this season.

Teliszewski captured gold in the 200yd freestyle, also his second in 2008-09, posting a tally of 1:54.47.

Freshman MacKenzie Stewart claimed the top performance in the 200yd breaststroke, tallying a time of 2:40.65. The rookie has twice finished first in the event this season.

The Cavaliers owned a combined eight second-place finishes, including two runner-up performances from junior Andrea Carabello. She finished second in the 50yd freestyle (26.53) and the 200yd backstroke (2:24.85).

The Cabrini men and women's swimming teams resume action Saturday, December 6 for day one of the two-day Wesleyan University Invitational.
